Dr. Oyeleke explained the reasons for the #50 billion commercial paper and why they chose Pathway Advisors. He said; “This fund will help us to close out many projects and we are indirectly using these funds to expedite ongoing projects and mitigate against inflation and fluctuations in market prices. This will help us be more profitable, keep investors’ funds more yields. It is a win-win for us. This will give us more liquidity and the ability to close out on projects faster. Once completed, we will put them in the market. Interestingly, we also have other ways for people to pay for completed properties. They can access mortgages through MRIEF or NHF. So, it is beneficial for both parties, investors, and us. We chose Pathway Advisors because they are among the best financial advisors around. We are not their first clients. We also checked their success rate in the market. They will always be there to ensure funds are well utilised and to monitor disbursements and inflows.
According to Pathway Advisors GMD, Mr. Alade, he revealed how it all started about three months ago. “When we began, we had to put in all our effort within the period and we thank God today. We are happy for the signing ceremony today.
So, commercial paper is an instrument that helps companies finance their working capital requirements, and we have brought many companies to the market to help them raise funds through commercial paper, which has improved their growth and standards. That is what we are doing with Efficacy here today.
Let me thank the board and team of Efficacy Development PLC for giving us the opportunity to work with you. We really appreciate it, and we don’t take it for granted.
We realise that Efficacy has many projects they are working on, and those projects are at different stages of completion because some people may ask why you are using short-term finance to fund long-term projects. The purpose of this financial paper is to complete ongoing projects; projects that are 30 percent or 80 percent complete, and within two to three months, they can finish the projects. We will do more as time goes on”, he stated

During the programme, the Chairperson of Efficacy Development Plc, Mrs. Suzan Samuel Joseph, also spoke.
“What we are doing here today is like taking a giant leap. We have many projects ongoing , and Efficacy is committed to finishing them on time on unlocking new sales funnel for the units.
The essence of this commercial paper is to move this organisation forward and also to grow faster. For us at Efficacy, the commercial paper is another boost for our upcoming projects. We still have many to achieve, and we want to appreciate everybody. “
In the closing remarks, Dr.(Mrs) Oluwadamilola Ajiboye , the Executive Director ( Sales and Procurment) for Efficacy Development Plc gave thanks to those who ensured the signing was successful among the various parties involved. “I also want to thank Pathway and its team. I thank my team (Efficacy Development PLC).
